AA breakdown renewal

I recently received my AA renewal for £205 - that included Roadside breakdown, Relay & Home start. I thought that was way too steep so I checked online & as a new member I would only pay £120. I phoned them & without any haggling they offered me it for £120 as I was a "valued customer" for 29 years. I should have beaten them down more & I would have felt more "valued".

Every year I go through the same rigmarole, MrsN! Crazy, isn't it? And every year I ask the person taking my call to make it known to those who make the pricing decisions how rubbish it is. And every year the person taking my call agrees with me.
It would be nice if an AA representative was to see your thread and comment!0 -
I change every year. If you don't negotiate a new price or change, you get ripped off. My "discounted" AA renewal dropped by £90 when I phoned, but I changed anyway.Je suis sabot...0
