PiP, Housing benefit and being a student

Now I understand being a student in receipt of PiP means I may still have some housing benefit entitlement?
I may be returning to uni having suspended my studies to sort myself out a bit.
What income do they take into account? I should be getting the special grant, DSA and PiP plus normal student loan.
Thanks!

PIP is disregarded in the assessment of all benefits.
Your maximum entitlement would be to the one bed local housing allowance as you are under 35 and receiving PIP (noted from previous thread) You can look up the rate on your local council website.
Have found this as regards the student income - sorry do not know if this is up to date or whether it is relevant to your course of study.

The best people to ask is the welfare department at your place of learning. They will also check that you are receiving all the loans/grants that you are entitled to.0
