Uninstall IE10 through Add/Remove programmes in the control panel and then do a google search on internet explorer 8. The search i did on google brought up a download from microsoft for IE8

Although there are many excellent reasons to use the latest browser versions, principally security is better with the newer ones. This is why Firefox and chrome auto update themselves all the time.

Why do you want to revert to a less secure version?

It isn't there. You were given duff advice. Go to Control Panel, Programs and features and then click "View installed updates" in top left hand corner.
    Should appear then.
