My 14yo has a galaxy s3 mini and loves it - she previously had an HTC wildfire and she finds a big difference, the wildfire was quite slow and struggled for memory. I bought it sim free and she uses an ovivo sim in it which was the cheapest way for us in the long run.0

The SIII mini is looking a good contender.
I looked at ovivo yesterday - hadn't realised it existed until then!
We're probably going to go with O2 PAYG though.
I initially thought about a Three contract as I have one and it's brilliant, but I'm not sure I want her to have unlimited 3G.
 I like the unlimited texts after 9 months on O2. 0 0

My 12 year old daughter has a Samsung SIII mini and loves it. She is on a Virgin mobile sim only deal at £5.32 a month for unlimited texts, 1gb and 400 minutes and 400 minutes to other Virgin mobiles. We got the deal on a Virgin media customer loyality scheme where we get a rolling credit (we all have Virgin sims) so think it is normally £15 to new customers. However we discovered that unlimited texts are in fact 3000 texts as it is unlimited "fair useage" and anything over that is chargeable when my eldest daughter ran up a bill (how can anyone use more than 3000 texts in a month?) but the credit limit stopped it being a big bill. Also have your credit limit set to the lowest level. My daughters have to check their balances regularly to ensure they do not go over by ringing the automated system and I also check online and warn them if they are near the end of their monthly allowances.0

If your getting a contract then tesco mobile cuts off outgoing calls when the package is reached & you can top-up if you want more credit before the next month rolls in.
I'm going to change to them from O2 in nov, they are cheaper & have the same coverage.0

Virgin Customer services tell you that when you ring up, but if you email it in as a complaint stating you are considering leaving they will let you cap lower.0

The Nokia Lumia 520 is an excellent phone and well worth considering. The operating system is quick and intuitive and new apps are coming out every day. It's great value as well.Debt on 1st August 2013 - £9842.03
