What about self adhesive mirror tiles ??? Then you can have them any size you want and they would be cheaper I would assume !!! Also if one ever gets broken you can replace that one rather than having to buy another expensive mirror :)

    Quick search gives :- http://www.mirrorstoday.co.uk/largemirrortile.htm
    pack of 4 tiles each 30cm x 30cm for under £20!!
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!

went to my local mirror shop & they want £100 for a plain mirror 1.5m x 1m. That sounds a bit expensive to me for a piece of glass.

Can anyone recommend anywhere online or shops in North West London?

    Lots of good info here.

Take some time to reflect on it.

i was getting rid of a hideous old wardrobe set with a mirror in the middle. The mirror was nice and round and quite big. I unscrewed the gross plastic edging to find it was still glued on. So i put the iron on the back of the wardrobe till the glue melted lol. One nice round mirror for my bathroom. Went and had a chat to chappy in local diy shop and bought some clips with screw holes in perfect for the job. Decorated the mirror with some glass beads (was a few years ago very trendy at the time).

Have you got a Dunelm Mill near you? They do large size mirrors and I got one unframed last year, so might be worth a try?

I paid £60 for a 2mx1.5m mirror. I got it from a straightforward busy glazier. Have a look at the telephone numbers on the boarded up windows in towns. These companies generally work with the trade and often quote more competitive prices. Another tip, if you are fixing it permanently to a wall and you are not sure if the wall is perfectly flat, use mirror adhesive. It comes in tubes like silicone sealant and is perfect for securing mirrors to walls.

    Good luck
