Where can I buy a large unframed mirror from?

I would like to buy a large (approx 1.5m x 1.5m) mirror for my bathroom, unframed and preferabbly with the drill holes made so I can just screw it to the wall.

Where could I buy such a mirror?

It doesn't have to be square, it can be rectangular but has to be over 1.5m and less than 2m wide (the width of my bathroom!) long and min 1.3m high.

  • Do you have any local glass/window shops?

    Failing that, Wickes/Homebase etc?

B & Q have them, prob also homebase...B & Q's come in all sorts of sizes/shapes and aren't too badly priced either.

Already tried the Wickes/Homebase/B&Q but they are all framed or not large enough :(. It is very difficult finding an unframed mirror over 1m in length!
  • Ikea do lots of mirrors but unsure of their sizes! Might be worth a look!

Can't you buy a framed one and remove the frame? I figure you want one with a finished edge though. Im no help lol!

Try your local glazier. They will cut it to your exact size required

Look up glazing in your Yellow Pages, the ads will usually say that they do mirrors as well. That is where we got ours from, made to size, holes where you want them.

I asked a local glazier for one approx 6 ft x 4 ft and to have it made was around £150, however this glazier happened to supply showhomes, so did a standard sized one for them which was £76!

So, all you have to do now is find your local showhome supplier!....
