£150 per month in "Pre-approved charges"

HSBC is hitting me for £150 a month in "Pre-notified Fees and Charges", plus £75 from our other account. This is definitely contributing to us staying at or below our overdraft limit, causing us financial difficulties. I've successfully got some of these charges back, several years ago (using this sites advice, of course!)
As it's causing us financial hardship, do we still have a chance of getting these charges refunded?
Thanks.

No. Have you read the sticky with financial hardship online resources for detals of what consititutes financial hardship?HSBC is hitting me for £150 a month in "Pre-notified Fees and Charges", plus £75 from our other account. Essentially you need to be in financial hardship irrespective of bank charges. If the bank then consider those charges are are causing you difficulty getting out of financial hardship, then they may refund some and/or waive charges for a while if they think that will help.
Someone going wild and getting bank charges as a result is not financial hardship.0 -

I would add that financial hardship is about the fact that say that £225.00 worth of charges meant that as your income was £800 that your bills were higher than that, and those bills specifically would be related to mortgage/rent, utilities and council tax(it may include HP on a car used to get you to work).
If you do believe that this is an issue then contact the bank and the providers of those priority debts to see what they can do to help. The bank does not need to refund even 1p of charges to comply with the lending code section 9. The charges that you are getting must over a continuous period of time as well not just one single month although if that affects your ability to pay for priority debts MIGHT be an indicator that you are in the beginnings of financial hardship.http://www.lendingstandardsboard.org.uk/docs/lendingcode.pdf
