Just back from the monthly street market - it's only the second one but just as good as the first, with more food stalls. I've got a big bag of broad beans, a lot of fresh, local lamb and treated DH to some bakery. We're just working our way through an Eccles cake nom nom. The market is a great idea as the butchers and greengrocers shops all closed as the area became a student dormitory; if you want a takeaway or cheap booze, there's a selection of shops. If you want proper food you need a car.

Last night DH was bored & out of sorts so he helped me sort out the middle bed room for an hour nothing demanding, just putting the cases back up on shelves, pushing the bed round and attaching the headboard. He cheered up when he got his screwdriver out We found several things that can go to the CS too.

Today we're painting in the garden as it is sunny here - we got the rain and clouds yesterday.

Couldn't get on earlier....tried twice.
