Don't feel bad La E, it's not a competition. I had £12K of debt and got it down to £1.2K last year, then promptly ended up with £3.2K again. It happens.

The List:

:starmod: Lovely sunny day so we had a long hike around local country estate. Took coffee and biscuits. Spotted lots of blackberry bushes, though they're not ready to pick up here yet.

:starmod: Emptied the chest freezer, de-frosted and tidied. Found a pound of mince, some rhubarb and some yorkshire puddings that had been lost.

:starmod:Checked mobile and broadband allowances.

:starmod: Trimmed hedge with secateurs as we have neither a hedge trimmer nor shears.

:starmod: Emailed Broadband provider. Been paying £2.98/month for something ever since we signed up and I've no idea what it means.

:starmod: Checked OH is on the best mobile tariff.

:starmod: Spent ages sorting out rechargable batteries. Huge pile, most of them gone to battery heaven.

:starmod: Started repairing neglected Maglite torch. Which idiot left cheap, disposable batteries in an unused torch over Winter? Er, that would be me. Components are currently soaking in WD40.

:starmod: Renewed library books online to avoid fines.

All caught up with orders, gonna have a wee break and get my dinner then I'm hitting my wardrobe and getting my Ebay head in gear! Anything I've not wore in 6 months is going!! I will be ruthless!!

Hi all , just returned from a 5 hour cycle ride along Wirral coastline to West Kirby - absolutely shattered but the Emergency Tea and Cake at the half way point helped !!!! :rotfl:

Did spend money on refreshments but had a lovely day out with OH and a friend taking in the beautiful scenery
