I see that everyone has completely ignored the above comment. They REALLY need to look at this and see if it would benefit them. I can't stress this enough. It will only be a short term thing but the government have pumped thousands into this fund to help people.:rotfl:0 -
The problem the couple are faced with is that they can't pass the credit checks for a private rental..................

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

I believe the OP went bankrupt earlier this year, so that would be a problem.0 -

There are many charities in my area who act as guarantors and or pay deposit. If a young care leaver can do this, 2 self sufficient adults with "working full time and shed loads of benefits thrown at them" relatives should manage it.0 -

True, our LA website confirms this. However, upon contacting them for a young friend, we were told the website was out of date and such schemes were no longer operating in our area. It's not easy to get help, even from a charity, even if you're on your uppers.
Personally I think SOcial Services need to be involved.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
