Yes - back that idea - tell the HSE NOW - so what if they know its you (if they did!) - could they prove it? Just think to yourself - my health comes first, foremost and last - not being made to take risks with it. If they did realise it was you - then what could they actually say to prove it in an Employment Tribunal?

    Hi.
You don't have to give any details when contacting the HSE - we used to do it regularly when out and about - as if dangerous working conditions are visible anyone can inform the HSE.
Some companies, and there are ALOT of them in construction, will just ignore H&S until they actually kill someone, mores the pity. I went to see a guy once, who had broken his back TWICE but falling off scaffolding; because the top level's boards weren't made safe - you'd think that breaking your back once would open your eyes to H&S, but apparently not. And we still couldn't get him to do H&S training for his staff.
Good luck, but you owe it to your colleagues to at least try and get things changed.

    Thanks for the advise guys,

However it wouldn't take a rocket scientist for them to figure out it was me, I have raised some "safety issues" with them in the past and I don't trust them not to come up with some "legitimate" excuse to get rid of me or at least make my life very difficult.

Morally I know it is wrong to keep quiet till I'm leaving but I cannot risk losing my job. I feel I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. I will though assure you that the moment I get a new job and get a referance that I will make a full report to the HSE, photos included.
