a question for santander 123 current acc. customers

Hi there. Im looking to switch to santanders 123 current account. Been on website trying to find out if FIRST UTILITY and VIRGIN MEDIA are both companies that qualify for cashback with this account [for my 2 direct debits]. There is an 'eligibility tool' on the website which is supposed to show a company if you type it in but its not working for me. Can any existing Santander 123 customers confirm they do? Thanks in advance.

Both companies qualify according to this webpage.

Well, you earn 3% itaxable interest if it stays in the account for the full year, but the cashback would be tax-free, and you might get the money back sooner than a year. And of course if you keep the 123 account full, the money the fuel company is "looking after" for you is additional.

:T thanks I new their had to a gain somewhere in it .sadly not maxed out ac yet and under tax allowance. but its worth thinking about other debits or instances. every penny helps and as other banks are rumoured to be going down the cashback route. and also the low intrest rates when deals have ended. 2% would beat some ac.
