It should be the same amount, any reason for the reduction?
Unless you get into the support group you won't get ESA again.
Have you completed an ESA 50 form and had a 'medical'.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

In that case, your ESA will remain open for NI credits only,
Most likely, you had a "pension protection disregard" carried over from your Incapacity Benefit. You would only keep this disregard if you successfully appeal the original decision 12 months ago to put you in WRAG.
I don't know why you had the £5 reduction though? Unless they were taking back an overpayment or a deduction from you.
If the letter that told you, you were in the WRAG was dated less than 13 months ago you can put in an appeal for the Support Group, you will need to give reasons why the appeal is being submitted late -perhaps you were not aware of the 365 days limitation to the group you were put in and you were not aware there was a different Support Group which was more suitable for you.
You have to satisfy one of the Support Group criteria.

You can also phone ESA and ask when you are due to be re-assessed... and if you are still put in WRAG by the next assessment you can then appeal THAT decision within 1 month for the Support Group.0
