I am not defending her actions.
I was expecting a few reactions re the D &D this could just as easily have been someone using their mobile phone.
What I was hoping for was a few constructive answers NOT "I hope they bleed her dry"
She is 21 & the insurance is with Admiral
Re the comments & take her for every penny - very simple go bankrupt!!!!0 -

Commendable.
You've brought them up well, a real credit to you.
Avoid the consequences of her actions.

You can't argue with the MSE Motoring Polis - self appointed guardians of the forum ready to pounce. You should mention the children in the back seat of the car or the defenceless puppies - animals get more reaction than children for some reason.
:D
OK. She had an accident whilst over the limit. Injuries are fortunately not serious and their may or may not be a financial impact. She's young, foolish and hopefully will learn from it.The man without a signature.0 -
OMG!!! she had a puppy in the back too.. that's it send her to prison. call the RSPCA and get those puppies off her...forget the kids. They should have known better than allow someone drunk to drive.vikingaero wrote: »You can't argue with the MSE Motoring Polis - self appointed guardians of the forum ready to pounce. Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Thank you to those that have been constructive and offered helpful advice. Yes she has learnt her lesson
For the rest - maybe the next time I see someone with a mobile clamped to their ear or doing their make up in my rear view mirror I apply my brakes & suffer whiplash!!!0 -
Shes lucky she didn't kill someone or herself, anyone caught drink driving should automatically get a life time driving ban, these people clearly can't be trusted and don't have the slightest concern about the safety of others. Only an equally selfish person would support a drink driver, I would be ashamed beyond belief if any of my children did anything so disgusting.
Your daughter deserves absolutely everything she gets, I hope she is disgusted with herself.0 -
