Work on 2 pages simultaneously

Is there way to work on 2 Word documents side by side on the screen? Thanks.

Yes, if both documents are open you can click on 'Window' then 'Arrange all'

Or just resize the windows with the documents in them and move them to where you want on the screen.

At the top of the vertical scroll bar there's an innocuous looking block - click and drag this downward. You'll now have two views of the same document above one another.

Alternatively - as long as you're working on consecutive pages (it's not perfect, but it sort of works) - you can go to "view -> zoom", click many pages and set the zoom level to something that'll fit on your screen.
