has anyone else had the problem when changing bank accounts using the bank change system of companies not accepting the change and cancelling your dd and then charging you for late payments or in the case of credit cards removing 0% interest ,just had one company insist i had no dd ask for new mandate and to send cheque to cover next payment as it was to near dd date to set it up cash the cheque and take the dd.

If they take a DD after you've paid by cheque, then call your bank and invoke the direct debit guarantee.0
