Help please - not getting much sense from Barclaycard

Hello,
I wonder if someone could help me with this please?
I want to change the date on which my Barclaycard statement is issued from the 13th to the 1st. Not a major problem you would have thought - so I called the customer service number, first operator listened to my request, said he would have to speak to someone else and promptly cut me off.
Tried again, spoke to a lady this time, found it really difficult to get her to understand that I wanted to change the statement date not the payment due date, thought I had got her to understand so at the end of the conversation I asked her to confirm what date the next statement would be issued and she said it would vary - could be anytime between the 26th of the month and the 8th of the month so she obviously was still talking about payment due date - gave up
Found a complaints phone number on my statement which I then rang and got a third operator - is this the complaints line I asked? No it is customer services again !
Does anyone know how to make contact with Barclaycard in the UK as I now do not know when my next statement will be issued.

Generally, they have no obligations to do what you ask and I think most CC providers don't allow changing the date just because you want this.0

If you change the statement date, the payment due date will also change as this is a certain number of days after the statement. There are also some practicalities to be worked out: if your statement from now on will be issued some two weeks later, will the next statement come after a two or six weeks interval.
You cannot expect the operator to come up with an instant confirmation of your request. If Barclaycard hasn't come back to you within the next week or two, then contact them again. But do not go on like some petulant child: "I want it now!"0 -

I don't think that I came across as a petulant child ( hope not anyway) and I do of course realise that changing the statement date will also change the payment due date.
Anyway, I had another go at contacting customer services and they have now confirmed that my new statement date will be the first working day of each month ( commencing beginning of November). So all sorted now thanks0
