Can anyone confirm that the above laptop has poor sound, or otherwise?
Need a laptop for my 15yo daughter but she's a bit of a rocker and wouldn't thank me for a tinny bass-free sound.
A minority of reviewers have slated the sound hence my question.
Ebuyes states "Integrated stereo speakers below the screen, combined with SRS Premium Sound HD enhancement, mean your favourite tunes and film soundtracks will have rich and crystal clear sound without distortion." ... but they would, wouldn't they.
I should state that we aren't expecting Dolby 5.1 or anything like that, just sufficient normal sound for a teenager?
Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that it's the one for £196.94 from Argos Outlet. She should buy external speakers regardless, as laptops aren't renowned for their bass reproduction.0

Correct ND, I have a Dell Inspiron which, while it doesn't have a great sound, is perfectly adequate. Just wondered if the Tosh is really that much worse? A laptop's a laptop and all that and reviews are purely personal opinion and can be over-critical.
Cheers, any other opinions welcome.0 -
Don't agonise over it. You have seven working days once it's delivered in order to evaulate the thing. That will give you plenty of time to test it. If not suitable, return it for a full refund.0

My Lappy had good sound (until the speakers stopped working) so I got a USB soundbar like this http://www.trustedreviews.com/edifier-soundbar_Portable-Audio_review (the sound is Ok and it is well made, but sound is very subjective and my ears aren't what they used to be)4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
