We had a massive storm with thunder and lightening through the night so maybe there is a storm threatening near you?

Good luck with the hospital stay.

Bought DH +10 Manuka honey for his sore throat and have been spooning it into him since yesterday and making sure he does what he is supposed to do with post op scar on head.

Making boiled eggs and toast and then lemon and honey drink before using chicken stock I did yesterday to make soup for lunch. Might do home made burgers and rolls for tonight and finish tidying kitchen.

Youngest should be back home today and not sure if oldest is visiting this weekend or next so staying flexible .

Hug to all who could use one.

    Morning all!
Flying visit as I'm taking mum to MrA's, then home to iron something to wear tonight, take DS to physio, then going to hairdressers at 4. Am off to a 40th birthday party tonight, it's OHs friend's wife, will be nice to see them and their mad family, we went to their wedding in Turkey a few years ago and had a great time with them all! Will be meeting myself coming back!

Notjustlaura where is the foodbank? Ive loads of tins of soup etc in a cupboard that aren't going to be used, all things OH ate but we don't, and have been looking for somewhere to rehome them!

Right, better shift before mum is on the doorstep, have a good day all!

Thanks so much - we're East Renfrewshire. I've PMed you.

My day is not going according to plan - am trying to ignore Mr Migraine but he's tap, tap, tapping on my temple and my tummy's not a happy girl so I'm reducing what I hope to achieve accordingly. Have bought salad and collected prescription and shunted the other errand into tomorrow's supermarket shop instead of browsing round town today. Food Bank might still happen if I feel better by lunchtime but I have my doubts. Chick peas are doing their thing in the SC. House is fairly tidy so instead of dropping in on the FlyLady thread I'm going to knit till Sammy-cat comes home and then either continue with that or go to bed for snuggles (my boys give the best snuggles!).

Said a firm No to Pepsi Max and chocolate while in Tesco - financial reasons, health reasons, weight reasons. Would have been nice though! Anyway - time to check on Sam (he's old and finds it hard to jump back in the window) and pick up my needles.

    Evening everyone

Just checking in. Have been Mia due to 2 weeks hold in calandra Bosch menorca. It was lovely, what a beautiful place and lovely people. I loved cuitadella, very pretty, I could quite easily move there forever. Since getting back just don't seem to have stopped especially with the garden.

Is today house hoovered. Wm on and hung out. Room of doom now completely sorted(thank goodness).

Going up north to visit my parents on Monday for 6 days, dh has to stay at home and work. I'm sure he will enjoy the peace and quiet.

Bbird enjoy, I love North Yorkshire, all my childhood holidays were spent camping on my uncles farm which was next door to fountains abbey. The barn is now part of the visitor centre for the children. I spent many hours at fountains, Brimham rocks, pately bridge, knaresborough and ripon. Hope the weather is good to you.

Camelot - sorry to hear if your break in.
Molly - hope you got home safely and are not too tired.
Julie - you sound so happy in your posts about your brothers visit. Hope your Ds enjoys Leeds.

Sorry I can't remember much more. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care
