i took out an endowment policy to cover the repayment on my mortgage. a few years after i noticed,only because the endowment company didn't send me the yearly account statement, that the endowment would not pay the required amount. I complained to the company who said that because the mortgage advisor did not write in the quote that she said it would defiantly make the money required that they would not up hold the claim.
i went to the FOS and they agreed with the insurance company. since this time PPI's have of course come to the fore and i am wondering if anyone has had an experince such as this and what did they do

Endowments and PPI are different products with different complaint processes.
So your earlier failure won't change.0
