Flexplus charged interest on overdraft

I have just logged into my online account and I have incurred £5.50 in daily overdraft charges as expected. (50p per day)
However they have charged me £30.69 (Arranged Overdraft Interest)
Their own terms and conditions states that there is a 50p daily charge for being overdrawn and you will not incur any further fees as long as you remain within your overdraft which I have.
Even then this account does not incur interest charges but instead a £5 daily fee capped at £50 for being in an unarranged overdraft.
Has this happened to anyone else?:mad:

Have you recently upgraded from a FlexAccount to the FlexPlus account?
Did they give you the requisite 28 days notice of the charges to be applied (possibly by e-mail)?0 -
I upgraded 4/5 months ago and I have just checked my statement with the charges page and it mentions the £5.50 only. To incur the those interest charges I would need an overdraft of over 2k Which mine is nowhere near.Official DFW Nerd number 227
