Cheapest way to replace kitchen

Hello
I am looking to replace my dated kitchen, cooker hob not working properly, units are broken, integrated fridge and freezers not working properly and which was put in the 80's by the previous owners. My budget is quite small under a £900 and I was hoping that somebody out there will be able to tell me where I can find a good deal. I know a builder who will be able to fit for a decent price but just require units.
Your comments will be much appreciated.

I would say you have no chance for £900. New kitchen, cooker, hob , intergrated fridge and freezer and fitted..
I would of thought in London it would cost you more than that just for the fitting of a kitchen..

I was thinking new units, hob and cooker only. The rest of the appliances are not too old. Plus fridge freezer will be a freestanding one. Fitting I can get done0

Depends how many nits you wanted, but Howdens were offering something like 12 units for £399 plus vat (may have been £499). They were also doing an oven hob and extractor pack for £180. This was in their Greenwich Gloss White range. You would need to add worktops, plinths etc, but it is doable!Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

If you're willing to have second hand and dismantle/collect yourself it's worth looking on Freecycle - just depends how 'new' you want this kitchen to be.0

As #5 but also look on Ebay. People out there are replacing kitchens they don't actually need too and the one they are taking out being a of reasonable quality and in good nick they realise they can make a few bob on it. Mind you there are also people putting stuff on Ebay that really belongs in the skip so you would have to be careful.

I'm renovating a house to sell on, my builder told me about the Howden's deal, it looks great on the leaflet, so I went and had a look. The white is terrible, not a gloss finish and more like the finish you'd get on a cheap flat pack chest of drawers. They do it in oak too, but even that looks quite cheap. The deal is 11 units for £399 + vat. I'm getting their planner out next week to measure up but will probably go for the next step up quality wise.
You need a trade account for this deal too.0 -
The cheapest I've found is Ikea, but their units are not standard sizes, so if you want to replace doors etc over time, you'll have to go back to them.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
