No wifi after rebooting - help?

I have an Acer Aspire 5251 and just the other day I rebooted it but now I cannot get back online as it will not pick up the wifi.
I have put the wifi driver on but still nothing.
Maybe I am just being blond but have no idea what to do.
I was told to hold alt button and f3 (which shows wifi) but nothing happens.
Any help at all would be great.:D

Take a look in the Device Manager to check if there are any 'yellow question marks'(missing Drivers). If so, they are here.0

I was on there and tried to do that. I used another PC and downloaded driver on disc and tried to put it on laptop but its zipped but when I put win zip on the disc then my laptop the win zip will not open.

Have you got an ethernet cable ? if so plug your pc directly into the router, , go to device manager delete the wireless adaptor , then from device manager select actions and scan for new hardware. It should pick-up your wireless adaptor , then all you will need todo is enter your wifi password4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . I done what you said but could not find the wireless adapter to delete....0 -
Post a screenshot of Device Manager showing your network adapters expanded. Much easier than trying to explain what you have got installed. No free lunch, and no free laptop
