Hi
I'm not very savvy at things like this so I'd like to ask for your help please?
I have an iPhone and my daughter has just got a new iPod touch. All my contacts have synced to her contacts list. She has set the iPod up in her name but when I've looked at the settings under mail, contacts etc 'my info' has my name and all my contacts.
Is there a way of stopping this please?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Michelle.

Are you using the same iTunes account ?0

Hiya no we have separate accounts?0

I'm no expert either :rotfl:
Has she tried resetting it ? All her songs should be saved on her iTunes account.
I am sure someone with actual know how will be along soon. I just didn't want you thinking you were being ignored.

Where both the iTunes accounts set up on the same laptop ? If so this could be the problem .

Hiya, no I've had my iPhone a couple of years and recently got an iPad. My daughter has an iPad mini and now an iPod touch. It's always been weird as if she downloads something it installs on my phone? ( like a million justin bieber apps a day!) I just have no idea what's happening with them?0

Actually thinking about it they may have been ages ago but I don't have that laptop anymore? Don't know if that would make any difference? My eldest has an iPhone as well and his doesn't do it0

They must be connected via itunes or an email address. I gave my daughter my old iPhone and she gets all the app I load on my iPad because they have the same iTunes account.0

Right that makes sense we have separate email addresses so it must be iTunes somehow ( we have separate accounts I thought on that to) but would it make a difference if she's signed in on her ipad to buy an app on the odd occasion on my account?0
