Incorrect seller info

Hi, Can anyone please advise.
I purchased a M`bike on ebay the seller stated the bike was in good running order and ridable. I had it couriered to me only to find that when I took it to be serviced I was told that the bike was basically a non runner due to warped head oil feed leakage etc etc. The bike is not as described by the seller. I contacted Ebay and they are not interested. Do I have a case ? And what steps should I undertake.
Many Thanks Suricate.

  • The first thing you should do is to get a printout of the ebay listing before it gets deleted.

How long ago was the purchase, and how long after this did you discover the problems?
Have you contacted the seller about the problems, and if so, what did they say?
If they refuse a refund, then you will have to consider legal action against them but even if you win, it's not guaranteed that you will get your money back,

    There's an ebay/auction/selling board...way down below this one...try there?

If the bike doesn't start/run then yes you do.

Start complaining to the seller it was misrepresented and see what they say
