Right, just double checked. Varieties to get are salt and vinegar, worchester sauce, prawn cocktail, smokey bacon and cheese and onion. Buying a mix of 10 x 6 packs costs £4.20"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0
-
I tested this one on line and the tomato ketchup and hog roast ones wouldn't work. The others were fine.
Well, in the absence of a double discount glitch this is potentially even better :money:
Buy 5 including 1 or more ketchup or hog roast
Since the till doesn't recognise either flavour being in the 5 for £5.50 deal it rings up at £8.40 instead of £5.50. DTD of £5.80 makes cost for 30 bags £2.60
It could also contribute £1.04 to a PP shop against A or S where they are £1.68/3 for £4
That would mean cost of £1.56 for 30 bags :money:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Am down to just 2 items (pizzas) for cashback on MSL. Is this the same for everyone?

I found the RSH code on my junk folder and added it to the offers secion of my Personal Details page.
When I click "udpate" the page just reloads with no apparent sign of it being accepted. if I move off the page and then back onto it my acceptance code is still showing in the box
Was it the same for everyone else? Is there anything else I should do?
TIA
Yep we all had the same this morning. It drove me mad for ages thinking it wasn't being acceptedLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

this happened with a previous Telegraph code and has happened to quite a few of us this time. don't think there's a problem just need to wait the 72hours and the code will hopefully be credited.0 -

Thanks Tigerwhite, Tinyshoes and Rhosynbach for yesterday
Well couldn't get out yesterday - anyone done the wine deal this morning and which price is 25% coming off today (crosses fingers and hope you all say the same as yesterday)?
Fairclaire and Dipdap these made me smile so much. My DD just going into Yr 5 but becoming a right fashion diva (she doesn't get it off me). On holiday she would only wear certain clothes - could cry at those not worn that were lugged over (as too cold to wear last year). Hey ho - her favourites were a short black, synthetic dress with shaped roses passed on from a friend just before we left - hot as hell to wear and OTT, and a top and skirt outfit with metal discs from the market while we were there (think belly dancer). Only once out she felt so over exposed with the latter and covered up with pink shawl I insisted she take. What do Mum's know hey
. The requests for high heeled shoes have already started and been refused but will go on. DS knows I am the expert in broken record technique and just gets on with it - DD I am sure will continue to ask ... hey ho.....
I have been having a few tough titty moments and wishing for wardrobe malfunctions for her - so you both made me feel better about those, as I had been giving myself the bad mummy message too but they just have to get on with it! :rotfl:Thanks for the laughs and shared experience....:)
Oh dear;)
When my dd was around that age I did not take her shopping. I would go into tammy girl (long gone so new look now) I would buy clothes I thought we would agree on for a certain occasion maybe 2 or 3 outfits and she would then chose at home the outfit she liked best and I would return the rest.
Must admit it worked very well for us and I would often chose exactly what she would want. That way she never got her hands on unsuitable clothes.
I get the feeling girls are even more demanding nowadays but clothes are cheaper in relation to income now but not made as well.
Had more trouble with ds1 ended up with black trainer type shoes and black fabric jeans as was not allowed denim but these were good compromise.
Mind you as a single mum my kids were allowed to ask for one thing on payday and they had all month to think carefully about what they wanted.
I really feel for those with dds at the puberty stroppy stage.
