If she goes to her brother's wedding, is she going to sulk all the time or do her best to make it unpleasant for the rest of you?
Whilst it would be nice for her to go, if she doesn't want to then it might just be best to accept that.
Just my opinion, I know you know best
Just thinking that if you give up on that idea then you may well be able to enjoy the wedding just that bit more
She is one of the bridesmaids so dont think she will not come. Also if she does she will actually behave as when he graduated she threatened no to come then did and she was fine. We had a bad time with OH drinking and the graduation was ruined when he crashed the hire car and I have been determined to have at least one family occasion that goes well. At least we can pretend we are a normal family.0 -

its time to live for your self rose lifes to short and yes yr dd had a hard time but she is prown to "NEVER BE WRONG,AND ALL EYES ON HER "
ask her to move out with bf and get on with her life after all if "EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT".
THEN what she doing free loading , she cant just pick n choose what bits shes happy with, then make u feel like crap ,
i know you have do your utmost for yr kids and shes being selfish
have you booked that holiday:D hope so rose if not ill be coming to book it for you :rotfl::T
chin up today now and whats yr plans ? any wedding prep, whats left to sort for wedding , also well done on the diet front too :T
My sisters have booked the trip to US but I am still undecided. The text I meant to send to sis said I was going to ask her to move out after the wedding. I know in my heart I am not doing her any favours by letting her live here rent free and letting her sleep all day. I just need to get underwear and get my nails done for this weekends wedding ( my niece) and then sort out the hotels and car for next week. Today I am going to have a 200 cal meal aswell as the diet in preparation for food at the weekend. No food for 6 weeks so want to not upset my tummy too much. Still 24lbs gone but am running out of clothes to wear now.
Wish I could enjoy myself for a change.
Still you are basically right its up to me to change things.0 -

Hope all goes well for you then, maybe it will be a day she actually enjoys and it will be the turning point for you.
Really hope things go well for you, will be keeping everything crossed
Oh, and there is no such thing as a normal family! All these people that look like they are having a wonderful time have something going on underneath! I have a friend who has 6 kids, nice big house, nice cars, but massive rows with sons/future daughter in-laws, and as for what I could tell her OH about what she has got up to in the past :eek::eek: (never would by the way!).
Many years ago I had several friends and got rather confused as to who to refer to to/with who. One wife went off with someone else's husband husband, her husband went off with his wife (swapsies!), two husbands went off together, one of their wives went off with the son of one of my neighbours, can't recall what happened to the other wife!
So, your family is closer to normal than a lot I know! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Just checked my spam folder and have been selected for the come round party at the French Connection shop....Free drinks, goodie bags and 20% off.....hmmm.... to go or not to go...
I'm in too :j
Got a group of girlie friends coming with me, they're all mums and i've told them no kids, so they get to do something just for themselves for a changemadmuppet5 wrote: »It says it takes 72hrs to be applied to your account so should be OK
I wonder how RSH make any money at all though :rotfl:
They make money through idiots like me who book trips and then dont use them because they're going on holiday the same dayI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
