  • Morning all.

Birthday girl here but woke up and my back is worse - obviously its telling me how old I am! Doubt if I can party much today.

Still admired my lovely clean kitchen floor after using steam mop yesterday - now that is a sure sign that I am showing my age.

Off to do some stretching and yoga exercises to try and get a bit more mobile so I can :j

Was going to have a rant at the first reply along the lines of 'that's why newbies won't stay around if they don't get made welcome' but then you changed tack - cheeky monkey! Many thank for explaining. I knew there was some issue but couldn't remember the detail. Thanks again.

    I didnt "change tack"

I see you are not a woman, that was a surprise :o:eek: sorry I just assumed you were :o
What's it like on top of the O2? I didn't know it was possible to go up there :T

Still catching up on today, I am flitting backwards and forwards on the thread now and don't know where to go next or where I've been :o

I must go and get all these toys out of the boot and find a suitable hiding place for them...I nipped in while DS was asleep in his pushchair this afternoon and ended up laden down like a pack horse :D
He started to wake up as I was going back to the car - not surprising really as he had a Ben 10 bike box pressing down on his head through the pushchair hood :o

When the SA scanned the bike she said ''ooh £12 that's a good price isn't it'' :D I replied ''oh yes I know, rude to leave it there at that price' (SEL was £40) :rotfl:

    Congratulations on the job purpledonkey

FloFlo hope your 1st day back went well

Scamps hope the leg isn't giving you too much jip

    I'll be back....

*Double checks the mirror* nope I'm a guy :D

The O2 was awesome :) it's pretty new I believe to climb over it. I saw it as a prize on the apprentice when a group won a task, Sir Alan sugar said you're climbing the O2. And thought that looks cool! :D beautiful views :) I recommend it :T also you can do a sunset time and night time :) nice place to propose to someone ;)

    Good morning :)

Why "apologies"? You did nothing wrong. If everyone that didnt know the answer to a question was to say so the thread would be full before you know it

Sunday is a notoriously quiet day on the thread and whilst it's a shame the OPs questions had to be re-asked it could have been done a bit more diplomatically IMHO

It was Monday?! As for thread being full, doesn't stop everyone saying 'thanks for the new thread' and filling it up again at the start (which although nice and friendly is totally pointless!). At least saying 'sorry I don't know' shows its acknowledged, but I'm sure most regulars DO know ;). I had asked twice last night, ignored/overlooked twice. I'm not sure how many times you politely ask something before slipping into slightly put-out mode. If that came over as undiplomatic then that's probably fair comment.

Sorry - genuinely. I'm coming over as ranting here.

Once again thanks for the friendly replies today. I think I'll avoid the shop.

Just been into T on my way to work - got 2 trouts that refused to let me use the coffee voucher and kept repeating it was a photocopy and wouldn't even try to scan them :(
