~I did the same mistake with the chicken the other day . Did yours have 1.7kg on the label but shows as 1.6kg on receipt?

If Asda start comparing against Aldi things could get very exciting! :D

Are there any jam makers out there amongst the elite? Any recommendations for some festive jams? Because obviously it's time to start thinking about Christmas :rotfl:

Last year I made a spiced plum but I wondered if anyone else had any other suggestions.

Edit: and thanks VT. She has survived a bad fall before so sure she can again. I'm not going to get my hopes up too high but at least she's moving now. X-rays coming back tomorrow that should make things a bit clearer.

i find the most popular ones i do for gifts are with booze in or unusual things you cant get in shops stawberry and brandy, pear and vanilla, orange and whiskey marmalade, even did cranberry and port once i use my own fruit mainly but you can look for whoopsies and be spontanous
  • I bought the 1.7 kg EXTRA tasty chicken in A on Wed and it didnt compare.. Think it was £5 v £5.70 in T. However, I can confirm that it was extra tasty :p:D cooked it fri afternoon for a roast dinner, made stock this afternoon with carcass, just had roast chicken sandwiches (with stuffing, mayo and seasoning) and got enough to eke it another meal with the meat tomorrow. Well worth a fiver even if not comparing :T

Josie Ann - :A thankyou very much :D

I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

I have just picked up a womble from today and on the receipt there is a multi buy of 2 for £2 trigger
the two items they bought were

    CIF 871256119121 &
    CIF 871256119130

neither of them show up on any comparison on the APG so assume that both of these could also be used as a trigger on this one too?

Interesting classy chick.. The mr muscle shower shine and the mr muscle 5 in 1 bathroom with orange are:
Bc 1667 and bc 0689. When I next go into A, I'll look at those bc and do a bit more investigating....
right, using my asda barcode scanner and going to a bc generator
. guessing the last digit. the top one is cif mulitipurpose 500ml. at £1.86.
    bc generator http://www.barcodesinc.com/generator/index.php
the bottom one is cif multipurpose ultrafast 500ml at £1.86

    clever arnt I :D:D
scanner says both in 2 for £2 deal
checking msm now the top one looks to be a trigger as it don't show
  • Evening everyone
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
