I missed the mites in the coco pop box when I first had a look this morning, good job I looked again have thrown box away. Was only a couple in bottom so they must have come in from another box stored close to them. Will have to invest in some tupperware type containers today as all mine are full. I hope I have limited the infestation upstairs as some cereals are on the shelf in their carrier bags according to type, like all my red berries are together. I will be devasted if they are overrun they are one of my favourites. :eek:

You've got me checking all my cereal now.
How can I tell if there's anything in them? Do the boxes look damaged? Can they get into the plastic bag inside the box if they're not open?
I've had weevils in my flour before :mad: so I usually keep that in the freezer but never heard of mites in cereal

Aau - this is from memory and may be a penny or so out.

Pretty sure the weetabix will have to go though as it only has the waxy wrapper with a way out. Think that is where will have started, as I guess most of you probably know eggs are already in wheat products.
