    :eek::eek::eek::eek:

go on why don't you all have a laugh on me. saved this for the night shift. do not read if you easily pee yourself.

I had a fright when I woke up today after my night out. I touched my head and felt what was congealed blood in my hair. I thought I had cracked it somehow but could not remember. I had fallen asleep on settee. I was even convinced it was hurting. it was a very warm night and I had been eating my fillers. eg chews. the black jack one is very very pliable in the heat and somehow it had got on my head. it even looked like old blood. lucky mrs zippy seen the funny side until she said it better not be on the furniture. it wasn't phew. then the rang the kids (both in their 20's) they all had a good laugh.

    Evening all......

Is our savvy about? Wanted to ask him about a price. (See below if you're here. :D )

This is my first shop today against Merries.... slightly gutted about the tiger bread, I needed bread and they had no baguettes left which were on my list, so just picked up a loaf, which has reduced my APG  (My mistake of not knowing an alternative option!)

    Anyway....
    1 x Mentos Mints (38g) £0.45 £0.47
    1 x ASDA Tiger Tin Loaf (800g) £1.00 £1.30
    1 x Muller Rice Apple (190g) £0.68 £0.34
    4 x Muller Crunch Corner Vanilla Yogurt & Chocolate Ba... £2.72 £1.36
    1 x Ambrosia Devon Dream (260ml) £0.89 £0.44
    2 x Vimto Original Cordial (1L) £3.56 £2.78
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics (160g) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x Haribo Super Mix (160g) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Broccoli (1Kg) £1.00 £1.00

    Comparison total £12.30 £8.69

Must note, should watch SA closer too, as only had 2 choc yogs, plus 2 strawberry ones, so good job I had enough fillers.

Anyway, I wanted to ask savvy or anyone else who might know if the Vimto in Merries has stayed £1.39, as if it has, it's quite a good way of using the A's Vimto voucher. I certainly don't mind paying 55p (if my maths is correct) for 1 ltr of it coz we get through loads of squash.

Would have been Kingsmill 50/50 M/S Bread 800g for example. I have the Vimto 1L as £1.39 in Morries last Wednesday, but you know that as the APG just confirms it. No end date noted I'm afraid. I don't recall a lot with an end date of August (but then again...). This offer has been on for a number of weeks though. The product and its offer is on M's website at the moment, but again no end date stated.

As an alternative, the Vimto Cordial 2Ls are at £2.00 in T until next weekend (so could go on Avs T) - you can remind me though if the A coupons did not include this size.

I can see why you want Morries info, as everywhere else is £1.78 and above. I won't find out till Wednesday. But - with the Bank Holiday (in some parts) that's only a couple of days. In the meantime M's current £1.39 price may continue to be picked up until the update (by 12 noon tomorrow??). (I know, Elsie, wait two and a half hours and I eventually appear:rotfl:.)

I went off this afternoon - left a Tvs S list in a 'mess'. But I think I'll leave it as it is (having just taken a few items off, such as the Daz that ended today and the Emmi Caffe that was more expensive at S and should have been deleted) - leaving it be now as it also gives an insight into the 'workings out' behind these things!

I remembered the Gardener's World 2 for 1 thing - and so went quickly to catch a visit (with a family member) to one of the places on there. We had a very nice time. A couple of hours drive out but nice weather and good scenery. Enjoyed a relaxing time and managed to walk every pathway there, even though a little late in the afternoon it was nice, leisurely and unrushed. Done us good!:T In fact just about the right amount of time to cover it. (I won't tell you where, by the way as narrows down where I am - but just to say, some good places in that offer - in fact I've no doubt I couldn't find a garden that I didn't like - and they are there, like lots of places, to enjoy!)

We were National Trust recently and that was good as well. They do have quite a range of very different properties. And I'll be using my T CC vouchers - or tokens rather - as soon as I can work out how to get more out of T!:rotfl:

So back to the usuals tomorrow and rest of the week - and so a bit of an early night (for me:rotfl:) - I'll catch up with you again later.

    Goodnight.:):)

Zippy, I'm another one intrigued by the white plastic object, lol.
Where abouts on the outside of your house is it? And what kind of house do you have? (did it used to be flats? or just a standard semi/detached/terrace etc)

Sorry to be so nosey, but it might help in identifying it.:rotfl:

Oh, and is it just screwed on or does it fit in a recess? TY.
bungalow..just screwed to wall. by patio door
