I have learnt from this thread to never throw away any coupons until they expire... It's a good job DD loves to cut coupons for mummy:rotfl::rotfl:

now i love all this lovely sunny weather but i am forever running about like a blue-arsed fly with the watering can!!
anyone else feel like a blue-arsed fly lately??
tomatoes still a bit green but the parsnips and carrots are coming on quite well.
plums are a bit on the hard side but cucumber is a decent size.
the private hedge has lost a lot of leaves and i think the extreme weather has taken its toll- hope it grows back next year.
Very much so. I have my own garden to deal with, my toms are also still greenbut my chillies are doing well and I had a good lot of cucumbers. I've got some spring onions which seem to be a bit mental at the mo but they're not far off being ready I don't think.
And I've just taken on the mammoth task of turning my parents garden into something resembling an allotment :eek: but we've got a greenhouse ready to go up now so that's one big hurdle out of the way
I hate though when it rains, but I still have to water in my greenhouse :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Evening all......
Is our savvy about? Wanted to ask him about a price. (See below if you're here.)
This is my first shop today against Merries.... slightly gutted about the tiger bread, I needed bread and they had no baguettes left which were on my list, so just picked up a loaf, which has reduced my APG  (My mistake of not knowing an alternative option!)
Anyway....
1 x Mentos Mints (38g) £0.45 £0.47
1 x ASDA Tiger Tin Loaf (800g) £1.00 £1.30
1 x Muller Rice Apple (190g) £0.68 £0.34
4 x Muller Crunch Corner Vanilla Yogurt & Chocolate Ba... £2.72 £1.36
1 x Ambrosia Devon Dream (260ml) £0.89 £0.44
2 x Vimto Original Cordial (1L) £3.56 £2.78
1 x Haribo Tangfastics (160g) £1.00 £0.50
1 x Haribo Super Mix (160g) £1.00 £0.50
1 x ASDA Smartprice Broccoli (1Kg) £1.00 £1.00
Comparison total £12.30 £8.69
Must note, should watch SA closer too, as only had 2 choc yogs, plus 2 strawberry ones, so good job I had enough fillers.
Anyway, I wanted to ask savvy or anyone else who might know if the Vimto in Merries has stayed £1.39, as if it has, it's quite a good way of using the A's Vimto voucher. I certainly don't mind paying 55p (if my maths is correct) for 1 ltr of it coz we get through loads of squash.0 -

I am pretty sure it was the Asda magazine from August. The one that had the Velvet toilet roll coupons.

Well, I gather that the curries are still working - but I didn't manage to get any cos DH had to take me to Casualty instead of Tesco this afternoon ! Unbelievably I managed to stab myself with a plastic carrier bag. Unfortunately the bag was one of those heavy duty, stiff ones that you get in Duty Free shops and the corner hit me right in my eye - fortunately it just missed the cornea but it poked a rip in my eye ball and it bled like the clappers. DH is squeemish and couldn't look and I couldn't see exactly what I'd done cos of the blood running down so had to go to Casualty. There doesn't seem to be any permanent damage but I've got antibiotic drops and they reckon it will take about a fortnight to heal and I have a perishing patch to wear. It looks a real mess and I have family coming to stay tomorrow. At least it gets me out of the massive pile of ironing left from my Portugese holiday.
Ouch!!
Hope it heals quickly TBW0 -

Hiya. I'm back from the barbie.
It was beautiful sat outside in the sunshine, eating and relaxing whilst the kids all played nicely. Gotta love dinner round someone else's - no dirty dishes :T:DWell, I gather that the curries are still working - but I didn't manage to get any cos DH had to take me to Casualty instead of Tesco this afternoon !
