Egg Card

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please?
I had PPI on an Egg credit card following a phone call offering me free cover, which was never cancelled. I can't remember when this was but the card was paid off in full and cancelled in 2008.
Could someone advise me on who I contact about this, is it Canada Square or Barclaycard?
Also, I have no idea now on what my account number was as it was online and any paperwork has since been destroyed as I didn't think I'd need it. Would I still be able to claim?
Many thanks in advance

You'll have to look up the date Barclaycard took over. If your card was still active then, you complain to them. You will probably also have to complain to Canada Square/Egg, and to find your documentation, you need to send a SAR to possibly both Barclaycard and Egg to see what's left.
Egg are pretty good about keeping info, but they do tend to misinterpret a SAR as a agreement request, so you may have to threaten them with the ICO.
