Hi
Just after some advice pls
I put two claims into fd one for loan and one for cc
They have upheld loan one but said they can't proceed with cc one as dont have any data. My question is can I write back and say I still believe I have case of mis selling and send to fos and hope for a good will payment. I no I was mis sold and the fact they upheld loan proves it to me
Thanks

It does not follow that if the loan is upheld then the CC will be too, what year was this card taken out and is there evidence that you paid PPI, if this was more than 6 years ago and they have no data and you do not either, FOS will not make a good will as there is no evidence of PPI on ether side unless you have statements to show PPI.
You can send a Sar request https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1475553
Adapt to your circumstances, ask for all info they hold on you, enclose £10 and give them 40 days to respond, see if that throws anything up and then take it from there.

Absolutely you can if you can provide them copies of the evidence you need to support your allegations and the amounts you paid.

The fact you succeed on one product does not mean you will on another. Did the same staff member sell it? Did it use the same sales process? Is it the same type of PPI? Does it suffer the same issues (unlikely as loan PPI usually single premium and that is not liked whereas credit card is monthly premium - or only when you borrow money). You may have got an auto payout on the loan PPI as the amount was below their floor limit.

As mentioned, do a DSAR costing £10 and see what they have. If they have nothing and you have nothing then this typically means it is the end of the road. The DSAR will verify they have nothing (if that really is the case).
