Hello all,

I had a welcome loan well over 6 years ago and it had already defaulted and left a huge big red mark on my credit file.

Well thats now dropped off but but this morning I got a letter of Cabot saying the debt had been sold them and no want paying....
I am already paying off more debts and feel I should focus on paying more important outstanding bills...

can I be defaulted by cabot if I put there debt on hold for a year or so till Im straight and can afford to pay them off

edit: one think I forgot to add was that 5 years ago I joined a debt plan to pay this account off.. I paid a great deal off this account to a different debt collector and this amount seems to be the full amount again
