iPhone Sat Nav app for France (urgent)

My parents are going to France this afternoon (talk about last minute) and my dad has just called me to ask about a downloaded navigation app which wont use his data when in France. Ive seen people talk about them on these forums, can someone recommend one, preferably free, which will use GPS but not need data roaming on so my dad has a nav in France.

Free, doesn't need data connection

Not used the France map but have used UK&ROI and Italy

+1 for Nav Free. Used it this summer and it was great. If there's time, go on the Google Search screen while they;re in the UK and find a few useful waypoints to add as favourites.

Bizzarely, it costs to download the French map from within the UK ROI app, but it's free to download the French app separately.

Make sure they turn off speed camera warnings, which are illegal in France.
