Open an instant access savings account with a local big bank with a coin counting machine - Large branches of HSBC, RBS and NatWest tend to have them. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Santander has a 5 bag rule
Santander, Nationwide, Halifax have 5 bag rules. Santander can accept more bags at discretion.
HSBC accepts unlimited coins, and only requires bagging if there is more than 1 bag's worth of each. They also exchange old (big) 5p/sixpence, 10p/florin, and 50p, for customers. They will also exchange old English/Scottish/N.Irish/Jersey/Guernsey/IoM notes for anybody.0
