I enter them and I don't mind them. What I would say is though, please make your terms and conditions clear. Have a read of this thread here, to see what I mean:-

Fuss Free flavours run a lot of rafflecopter competitions, but they seem to have been trialling something else similar, called gleam. I don't know how they find that compares.
That competition is here if you want to have a look.

I too am in the unlike camp for Rafflecopter. Most of the prizes are not for me (I am a fussy comper
).
As I pointed out in another thread the other day, I think the "Dailies" board on here should be renamed "Rafflecopter"

I've gone from avoiding rafflecopters like the plague, to not minding them too much.
I will still avoid any that have 56 different ways to enter, 6 or 7 is about my limit. I will happily like on FB, follow on Twitter, tweet, and follow on Pinterest but not much else.
I only enter them if the prize is something I want (but that's true of comps in general for me) and I'll only go back and retweet every day if it's something I really *really* want.
The Gleem system looks interesting - seems much more comper-friendly than Rafflecopter! (from the 3 or 4 I entered on Fuss Free anyway) - much less re-entering of names and email addys over and over again.Only in our dreams are we free.
The rest of the time we need wages.

I quite like rafflecopters, as long as the required entries are within reason, if the extras entries option offers too much I just pick and choose which entry options I want to do. It's as much or as little effort as you want it to be. I've had 6 rafflecopter wins so far this month xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I don't mind Rafflecopters. I never go back to enter them daily and don't enter if there are about 60 people to follow or like on FB or TW. I have won a few times from them.0

Thanks for all the information and opinions, much appreciated
i own a small and upcoming site, wont post the link as i am not sure if its allowed, but the traffic from the competitions really helps get us on the map so to speak
the use of rafflecopter was an idea to increase our exposure on Facebook/twitter as well as obviously getting traffic to our site.
i think for future competitions, like the spot the dog ball one we are running, i will keep it nice and simple for everyone involved and just have a basic form at the bottom of the page
for serious compers i am sure rafflecopter is not a problem, but its still a little fiddly/confusing
everyone at SME has been great as well as proving much needed traffic to my site, i have been provided with help and advice, so thats fantastic and i thank you all
it can be tough getting a site going with £0 marketing budget lol0 -
I never enter rafflecopter competitions.0

I've just seen this, and want to say that I quite like RC comps, as long as it's not tons of things to do with the chance of winning a fridge magnet, or similar. I do the things I want to do and don't worry about those I don't want to do. I also usually do the daily tweets, where they apply. But only if the prize justifies the time spent.

I used to hate Rafflecopter - especially as it was making me log in every single time I came across it. Then I read this article and some of the comments below it and somehow Rafflecopter has started keeping me logged in all the time so now, if I want the prize and the odds look good I go for it. Mind you, I haven't won one yet!0
