my no claims have disappeared

Options
i just changed my car insurance from quote me happy to Admiral because they were offering me a lot cheaper quote but when i received my no claims proof document off quote me happy 6 years no claims that i am meant to have were not there its saying none which isn't right the only claim that i made in the last 6 years of driving on my insurance was in july 2013 for a windscreen replacement which i was told that it wouldn't affect my no claims but since i protected my no claims on my last insurance they shouldn't have been affect at all right ? does anyone have any clue what i should do ??

  • i have sent a complaint which was the only way i could find of contacting them because quote me happy are a online based insurance company and you can't contact them via the phone unless you are making a claim they said i should get a reply within 24 hours

    Update
just had a reply from quote me happy

    "Thanks for getting in touch.
I’m sorry to hear your NCD generated with a mistake on it.

Regarding your proof of No Claims Discount (NCD), please find a copy attached to this which I trust will be satisfactory."

i looked at my new NCD and its still wrong they have given me one that says 5 years NCD but still should have six im off to complain again

It's in the Insurance Industry interest to restrict NCD to 6 years if they can. If you have 20+ years some Insurers will still say 6 is the max they issue at renewal.
