Cars break down, Especially newer ones.

Sensors for everything. If the wind blows in the wrong direction whilst you sneeze a warning light comes on for something or other.

Disappointing that it has happened immediately. Makes you wonder did they not prep the car properly but i guess these things can happen.

Get them to make sure they have test driven the car long enough to guarantee the fault lights dont come on again when you pick the car up.

Great cars Focus's though so fingers crossed they get it sorted quick and you can enjoy your new car.

While unlikely to be directly connected to you, a large chain, probably to save pennies on better chemicals, have restarted steam (really pressure) washing cars outside and in the engine bays before handover. Guess which large privately owned chain is having a lot of cars returned with phantom warning lights? They'll go back to longer detailing soon.

The manager responsible no doubt boasts about how much money he's saving the business, whilst the mechanics assume the facepalm position. He/she will leave just before it explodes in their face and use the success story on their CV for the next company they screw up.
