Have you any autoresponders set, such as 'sorry i am on holiday from **, so i will get back to you as soon as'. As this seems to be the issue of an email loop, such as you have received an email and autoresponded to another autorespond, so messages are just bounced back and forth
  • No nothing like that it was fine before I went away ...

Are they from users you don't normally correspond with ? If so, you can set up filters to automatically move them to the trash.

So does the incredimail email go to your talk talk email and pick up messages from there? Is it picking up exactly the same messages every time? If so, I'd log directly into talk talk and delete the messages from there, and then check your settings on talk talk and incredimail to make sure that the messages are deleted when they are picked up.
  • No I think they come straight through to my incredimail ...I never use my Talk talk one for my emails ...I have now had to remove my old email address and set up a new one in incredimail ...this is very inconveinent for me because that one was my main email address that I always use but I know if I put it back I am going to get hundreds of the same messages into my in box again and will have to delete them all only to have them resent to me yet again ...this is so annoying !!
  • I always block any unwanted senders ....I have so many emails because I have been away for the last two weeks so have not used my computer

It may just be that the emails aren't being downloaded fully.

I've had situations where I come back to a lot of emails, and the download doesn't complete fully. Next time it tries to download, it downloads them all again. If it's a *lot* of emails, it can take several attempts.

Is there a webmail site you can check for that account? If so, do the messages appear multiple times there?

It could be that the server is not marking them as downloaded when you download them, so it downloads them again when checking.
