Morning all!
Dull and damp here, washing will be hanging everywhere again!
Am sitting here with dye on my hair, its getting cut tomorrow so needed to hide the grey. Have an appointment at the spa later to get brows and lashes done, its crazy expensive, but DD bought me a gift voucher for my birthday and its running out so needs used, will be nice to get pampered for once! Better get a move on before my scalp turns brown, have a good day all!RIP Iain

I had an eventful day yesterday after all. I felt guilty so I went to see my friend in the end. When I got there I couldn't see any recording equipment so I relaxed and we had a coffee and chat. After an hour or so her son came home and said "Where's the recorder mum", she confessed it was under the sofa I was sat on so that freaked me out a bit. Obviously she has major trust issues but it makes me so uncomfortable to think every word I say will be replayed and analysed. Good job I love her
.
Wet here first thing - I opened the door to let the girls out for their early morning wee and Pandy looked at me as if I was crazy!:D Patsy went out willingly enough, but on returning, dashed through the bungalow like a little bullet and leapt on the bed. Bless her, she's so cute you can't really get cross with her.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
Left over sale from our picnic out yesterday for dinner
Been to sons house whilst carpet fitted there and took a couple of cook books to meal plan, trying for more veggie options on health and cost grounds. Shopping list done for tomorrow.
Let's hope we have good BH weather, last one until Christmas, what a depressing thought ....Carolbee0 -

Sistercas - enjoy your holidays, everyone needs a break to recharge the batteries!
Wuvvies - extremely well done to DD. Glad she got the reward she deserved for all her hard work. :T
Just a wee funny story about GCSE's today. One of my colleagues has a real bright spark of a daughter. She got 10 A* and an A. She was well miffed at the A and wants her dad to ask for a remark! :rotfl: Crikey talk about perfectionist!
Watching my beloved Spurs on TV. We are winning 2-0 so I am well happy.
Have a good evening everyone :beer:0 -
Evening all,
Had a busy day and been to Yorkshire to see mum and dad for lunch which was lovely.
I've had an awful headache all day, so bad it's making me feel sick and the normal painkillers aren't touching it. I'm wondering if I've had a migraine, never suffered with them before?
My youngest has gone off to Leeds this morning with an enormous backpack. I'm sure they Will have a ball. I know he has arrived safely, he has taken a little cheap pay as you go mobile, no way was he taking his iPhone. I've stocked his back pack with crisps and chocolate so hopeful he won't starve even if he smells:rotfl:
Dh is off to five a side so will have a lie down see if I can feel better.
Well done to all those who got the GCSE results they wanted:D
Could have sworn I posted this morning but maybe not?
