    hello, im at a funeral tomorrow, no flowers just donations for cancer research, will there be a donation box at the church for this? im gutted he was a good friend of mine,

    Firstly sorry for your loss.

    There is usually a box for the charity at the church or crematorium.
    Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

    There is nearly always a collection box available - you can put it in an envelope if you don't want 'how much' to be visible
    Or an invitation to send a cheque to the undertaker is another option usually offered. Or even a cheque direct to the charity mentioning your friend's name.
  • The last funeral I attended asked for any donations to be made direct to the nominated charities. Details were on the Order of Service.

    hi, contact the funeral director. All donations for my Dads chosen charity were collected by them direct and the family are notified later about who made donations and how much.
