Another quick q please...if I make my own lead with a single heavy duty trailing socket, what size of cable should I use?
(I'm a belts and braces kinda person so I can happily live with 'overkill btw.)

Unless there is a reason not to...my preference is to use the 2.5mm arctic?
2.5mm would be my choice, you don't need arctic cable, thats for extensions that are "worked" in extreme conditions, yours is a 1 use/fixed situation.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
