I have been experiencing quite a few problems with my computer but it has improved a lot since I did a System Restore. But, with MSE I find I have to log in every time. Does anyone know why this is? One thing I have learned is that I have too many security devices but I have been unable to uninstall AVG 7.5 or McAfee. Can anyone help with this too please. I've been told that having more than one causes conflict. i.e. problems of various sorts.

If you cannot unistall a program it may be due to the fact that the installer s either corrupted or missing.

Re install the said programs and then unistall them, that should do the trick.

I'll try that thank you but I am not optimistic as I have tried so many times to uninstall that I can't imagine it will be that simple by reinstalling again.

Does your browser clear all the cookies when you close it? That could be why you have to log in every time you visit MSE.

I think it does. I'll go and have a look atthat too. Sometimes when I see people using their computers so efficiently on TV or wherever I always wonder if I get problems because I download too much and then try to alter things and get it wrong. Cookies has been a problem before.
