Buying/selling clothes on ebay

Hi, just wanted to pick your brains really. I currently have a lot of childrens clothes to sell on ebay, mostly from next and george although a few designer clothes too. Now what I wanted to know is from any experiences you have had do clothes sell better in single items or bundles?

    Hiya
I think with kids clothes bundles are better with loads of photos too. I been selling the BNWT ones on there own. Good luck :)

  • Hi, I find that designer items will sell separately whilst next, asda, tesco etc are better in small bundles. Check the weight though - I find four items usually don't frighten people off on postage and are appealing with a lowish start price. Similar or complimentary items work well, grouped according to season and obviously in same size. Good luck.

are you allowed to put item numbers here? I wondered if I could write the item number of a jacket i've been trying to sell for ages - and maybe people could give me some hints and tips?. I am new to selling clothes - I only want to sell my own - but dont think I've quite got it; my jacket has been there for about 4 times now. please let me know if i can put item number?

  • If it's in the context of asking for listing advice rather than advertising your eBay items, I think it's OK to post the item no. Other members have done so before without getting flamed or deleted, so I presume it's allowed.

I would strongly caution against giving your ebay id on here as that information can attract people who want to cause mischief.

The regulars are fine, maybe ask one or two of us by pm to look at your item to give advice, but bear in mind that these forums can be read without any requirement to register and some of us in the past (myself included) have attracted problems by being traced via our postings here.
