Delivery problem with TNT

Hi. I ordered an item with iBathUK through amazon which was due to be delivered 15 - 19th August. It arrived whilst I was out on Weds 14th (unexpectedly early). TNT stated on their delivery card that they would keep it for 3 working days before returning to sender. I phoned on Monday (which I thought would be the 3rd working day) and it had already been sent back. Now iBathUK want to charge me £19.80 for a re-delivery. What are my rights? Were TNT right to send it back so quickly- I had assumed that Monday was my last chance to phone which I did.

What would happen if I were to cancel the order with iBathUK- would I receive a full refund? I could then reorder.... Or do I just need to accept responsibility and pay the £19.80!
