Would not work for them if they paid me double!

You'll probably find that those on here who are replying to your one man crusade and giving you the information on how you deal with an ATM dispute actually probably either work in the bank industry, have worked in it, or have relations/friends who do.

Have worked in banking and all ATM disputes need to be routed via your bank, plain and simple. They will then make contact with the ATM owner.

This issue raises it head all the time in banking, either no money received or worse ATM swallowing the card; it's quite simple the other bank cannot access your account details we do not know if the money has left the account or why the card was swallowed.

I didn't realise so many Tesco employees were on this site LOL

Other supermarkets are available - but you'd get exactly the same treatment from Sainsburys or Asda.

Agreed. In a cash machine dispute you always have to take the matter up with the bank that issued the card. If the ATM operator is from a another financial institution they will not deal with the matter.
