Dishwasher buying

Options
Hi there - I'm looking to buy an integrated dishwasher and have seen a few models with a top cutlery tray, rather than a basket on the lower level.

I'm pretty sure that manufacturers such as Neff, Boshch, Siemens and Miele stock these, but I can't seem to identify which of their models have them, as it's not all. I've looked on the respective websites but am still confused.

Please can anyone advise on how to identify them? Or if you have recommendations for dishwashers that would also be great.

TIA

You will find these cutlery baskets on the mid-high spec models from Miele and the high spec models from Bosch-Neff-Siemens.

The spec will show on the model details on the respective websites. Some have a comparison tool so its fairly simple to identify.

If your budget permits, buy Miele. If not, there is virtually no difference between Bosch, neff and Siemens, though Siemens have a very energy efficient model with Zeolith drying.

My DD's dishwasher has a cutlery tray and it's total pain in the backside. Mine has a basket and she agrees a basket is better.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

OP wants a tray, OP gets a tray. If OP later realises a basket is easier, adding a basket is not that hard.
Second the idea that buy the best you can afford & that Miele is top of the best. (Check Which at your local library if you want reassurance on a specific model!)

I had a Miele dishwasher for 15 years, still in good nick when I left it in the house I was leaving.
I have another Miele now, with the top cutlery tray - which I like as it separates the cutlery & cleans it better.
