                    Just a quick query...
I accidentally put the wrong phone number for contacting my CPN (communtiy psych nurse) on my Atos form. The number I meant to put was for the CMHT (community mental health team) but for some reason the NHS website I got the number from listed the old number/number of a nearby site.
If they ring up and ask for ____ CMHT they'll get given the right number, but would an Atos employee bother? Or if they ask for my CPN by name they might just get told she doesn't work there.... argh I'm really worried about this! I thought I'd got everything down on the form pretty well until I realised this.
To complicate things, my CPN is now off sick (has been for over a week... not looking good) and the 'duty worker' is unhelpful at best.
Can I/should I contact Atos about the phone number? It's about ten days since the (recorded) delivery form would have arrived, a couple of days before the cut off point.
So only about 3 weeks until potential assessment! And currently no supporting evidence as no CPN and GP doesn't know enough about my problems (only 3 at surgery, one I've barely seen so no good and the other doesn't believe in mental health probs and used to work for Atos!!!)

The likelihood of them ringing the CPN is very low, they tend to write instead.
I would focus on getting some evidence yourself - do you have a rough idea of when your CPN will be back?0

If they write, it will go the old CMHT address, although if they write out the address as I did it will begin with "XXXX Community Mental Health Team" so one would hope it would be forwarded. Also the CMHT do have appointments in the old building still (it's a semi-sold off old hospital) and I went there recently to see CPN and therapist so I know she goes there.
I'm wondering if I should ask the therapist for some kind of evidence, but I know NHS psychologists are really spread thin and it's probably policy for only CPN's to write letters or something... Maybe worth a try though?
Looks like CPN may be ill for some time. When I called yesterday to enquire about something else (she'd offered to look into how to get help for an ill friend I am caring for, as his diagnosis is weird/unusual, it never rains but pours eh?!) they said I would be given new CPN if she didn't return although couldn't tell me a timescale.0

 Do they write??
You have more chance of winning the lottery than you have with ATOS actually seeking out independent evidence.0

For the record, I failed an Atos medical first time (0 points), on appealing was put in SG (45 points).
The next assessment got SG from the form alone (no evidence sought by them or given by me as no CPN at the time, presumably got it on strength of last appeal).
So third assessment kind of hoping I can avoid one of those godawful medicals if I have enough evidence.0
